The annual Talisker Distillers Edition for 2022. This edition has been finished in Amoroso sherry seasoned casks. Amoroso is a blend of PX and Oloroso sherry.

This whisky goes on sale in Norway this coming week at NOK 759 (14980001).

Nose: Rich and fruity. Some pepper notes - of course. Rowan berries. assorted red berries and vanilla with time.

Taste: Medium body. Rather more peppery now. Also a pinch of salt. Orchard fruits and rowan berries again.

Finish: Medium long finish. More caramel and pepper. Dry-ish, green-ish and peat-ish.

Comment: Solid and dependable.
