The Myken Ocean Heart has been matured in 200 litre ex-bourbon barrels, with a 6 month finish in 40 litre casks.
The Myken Ocean Heart goes on sale in Norway this week at NOK 750 (16381802).
Nose: Soft and delicate ex-bourbon matured aroma, vanilla, tropical fruits, emerging almonds, creamy vanilla, rowan berries, and a hint of fresh paint over time.
Taste: Medium body, light and fruity. A blend of red berries and orchard fruits harmonizes with tempered oakiness and a mild sprinkling of spices. Tropical fruits emerge, with the profile becoming creamier and more approachable with each mouthful.
Finish: Medium-long, fresh and vibrant. Light, playful fruitiness continues, transitioning to a darker edge of raspberry jam and oaky chocolate, ending with notes of white pepper and mild oakiness.
Comment: Rock solid with a creamy, fruit-filled charm!
