Matured in a combination of ex-port, ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks. Limited to 9000 bottles. Bottled 2022-09-06. The Lochlea Harvest is their Summer Edition Release.

Nose: Dried fruit and rich malt greet you right from the start, accompanied by wet leaves and soft earthy notes.

Taste: Full-bodied with a peppery introduction, quickly transitioning to rich fruitiness dominated by dark and dried fruits, primarily plums and figs. A deep sugary sweetness permeates the palate.

Finish: Medium-long, maintaining a heavy and sweet profile with persistent dried fruit notes, especially figs. The finish is accented by nutmeg and subtle hints of oak.

Comment: I’m happy with this.
