The GlenWyvis 2018 - Batch 02/18 was their first larger release (after their limited inaugural release). A vintage 2018 whisky, bottled May 2022, and limited to 8000 bottles. Made using locally grown Concerto barley.
This whisky is made combining the following 23 casks (see official product page):

5x 1st fill ex-Oloroso (25%)

Nose: Light, fruity, and fresh, exuding a clean, malty character. Subtle undertones of ginger-flavored simple syrup blend with ripe apple and pear, creating an inviting aroma.
Taste: Medium-bodied, carrying the same fruity and malty profile to the palate. It feels youthful and spirited, with notes of vanilla, pear, and ginger, complemented by a hint of citrus in the background.
Finish: Medium to short, maintaining its clean and fresh character. Orchard fruits, vanilla, and chocolate persist, gradually giving way to honey and mint towards the end.
Comment: Young but promising!
