This will be my last tasting note from Cinderella Whisky Fair 2015. I tasted this little gem at Svenska Eldvatten. Svenska Eldvatten is a Swedish independent bottler. In addition they carry some bottlings from Creative Whisky Company, amongst others.

Today's whisky is a 22 YO Bladnoch from the series Exclusive Malts from Creative Whisky Company. Bladnoch Distillery is located in the region Lowlands in Scotland. The whisky was distilled 11 November 1992 and was matured in cask #4270 until it was bottled 2014. The cask gave 295 bottles.

Rumour has it that this whisky will be released in Norway 6 March 2015 at NOK 1 699,90. Unfortunately it is not available in Sweden.

Nose (22/25): Nice and sweet with a lot of vanilla and different candies. I think of marshmallows and fudge. Salt.

Taste (23/25): Rich (really rich) and sweet. Vanilla, fudge and salt. Maybe some brown sugar. Straight forward, no fuzz ;)

Finish (22/25): Sweet and a bit watery. Vanilla and fudge. Quite short.

Balance (23/25): Smooth and sweet, all the way. I see that my tasting note says sweet, sweet, sweet, but I can assure you that this whisky is so rich that it does not feel too sweet at all.
