BenRiach har kjøpt Glenglassaugh

Det blir i dag meldt at BenRiach har kjøpt Glenglassaugh for en ukjent sum. Glenglassaugh ble gjenåpnet i 2008, og har inntil nå vært eid av Lumiere Holdings i Amsterdam. BenRiach eier allerede GlenDronach. Stuart Nickerson, daglig leder hos Glenglassaugh, uttaler følgende til The Spirits Business:

“It’s great to be back in Scottish hands. We’ve grown the business significantly and today’s announcement means continued investment and will also allow the business to grow further and more rapidly.”

Jeg håper dette er en positiv utvikling. Jeg har veldig sans for Glenglassaugh, og tror de har noe stort på gang med sine nye produkter,
