Nose: Soft and appealing notes of sweet wood smoke and earthy vanilla. With time, soft leather and dark chocolate add depth and richness.

Taste: Full bodied and creamy. Green herbs dusted with soot, accompanied by white chocolate. Then a transformation, turning drier, with a perfumy, almost ethereal character.

Finish: Long finish. Dryish with lingering notes of soot, oak and pepper. Dried apple slices drizzled with honey emerge, followed by vanilla and milk chocolate to close.

Comment: Thoughtful and satisfying.
