This single barrel release (barrel #1552) was distilled on 2001-11-07 at Kentucky Bourbon Distillers. The total outturn was 180 bottles.

Nose: Super smooth and delightful bourbon nose. Just the right balance of deep corn sweetness, vanilla, light spices, leather, polish and soft perfume notes. Light herbal notes and some nuttiness come through after a few minutes.

Taste: Rich and full bodied mouthfeel. Burn me, baby! Wow! This is just sooo nice. Pretty much the same on the palate as I found on the nose, and that is plenty for me!

Finish: Sweet and rich all the way. This is a dram with a long finish - thankfully! Takes on a slightly oily, dirty and metallic character towards the end - and believe it or not, but I love this.
