A single farm barley release from Waterford. They are, as you might know, all about terroir. Matured in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon, ex-sherry casks and ex-Mouton Rothchild wine casks. Limited to 9384 bottles and released early 2022.

Nose: Malty with a touch of funkiness, intriguing and layered. With time the barley notes become more pronounced.

Taste: Full-bodied, intensely spicy and rich—this one really goes for it! Ripe orchard fruits emerge to balance the heat.

Finish: Medium to short, transitioning to notes of caramel, creamy ice cream, and fresh apple.

Comment: A lively dram with personality.
