A blended whisky from Japanese distiller Eigashima Shuzo (aka Akashi aka White Oak).
The composition of the Tokinoka Black Blended Whisky is 50 % malt whisky and 50 % grain whisky which has been married together, and then matured in three different types of casks; ex-bourbon, ex-sherry (Xeres) and virgin oak barrels.

Nose: A rich nose. Toasted oak, honey and white pepper up front. Mild, cold brewed coffee. Soft fruitiness in the back.
Taste: Full bodied and delightful. Mixture of coffee beans, cacao nibs and milk chocolate. Really enjoy this!
Finish: Medium long finish. More spicy now. Sweet, black coffee with no bitterness. Vanilla and dried fruits. A deep fruity sweetness forms the base all the way.
Comment: A delightful blend!
