Nose: Red berries, creamy vanilla, caramel and earthy cinnamon.
Taste: Medium body and a rather harsh spiciness up front. Dry and oaky. White pepper, nuts and hints of citrus.
Finish: Short to medium finish. The spices do relent and we get a more relaxed palate. It remains rather oaky, with top notes of citrus and ripe apples. Dried fruits, chocolate and caramel towards the end.
Comment: Surprisingly oaky.
