Composed of 10 American oak hogsheads filled January 2013, and bottled 2021.

This whisky will be available to buy in Norway starting tomorrow, at NOK 709 (14543601).

Nose: Butterscotch and warm fudge. Pleasingly sweet. Somewhat floral. With time more and more vanilla and white chocolate.

Taste: Medium body. Spicy with pepper and cinnamon at the forefront. A little raw and dry in character at first, then it quickly settles down and a rich, creamy sweetness smothers all else.

Finish: Medium long. Coffee and dark chocolate make a brief appearance. It remains creamy and sweet almost till the end, where I experience a soft burst of herbal greenness.

Comment: I quite enjoyed this.
