Matured in a refill hogshead (cask #DL14979). Distilled December 2010 and bottled May 2021. Limited to 383 bottles.

Nose: Rather peaty for a Talisker. Rich smokiness. Pepper and a pinch of salt. Hints of orange zest in the background.

Taste: Medium body. Still rather peaty and feisty. Spicy.

Finish: Medium long. More of the same, but toned down. Then sweet licorice and leather. Hint of mint.

Comment: More than nice enough.
