This is The Blend of Freedom, no less. I love the bottle design and the idea behind this product.
You can read more about this whisky on the official website - https://squadron303whisky.com/. Here are a couple of highlights:
“A historical blend exclusively composed of whiskies from the allied countries Scotland, Ireland, USA, England and France.
The result of this unique blend of Scottish single malt, English single malt, Irish grain, French single malt and American bourbon offers a complex and very gourmet taste experience.”
The Squadron 303 Whisky goes on sale in Norway on July 7 at NOK 898 (12840501).
Nose: Young-ish. Warm. Malty and “grainy” at the same time. Fruity with apples, banana and honey dew melon. Vanilla and toasted oak.
Taste: Medium body. There’s a fair bit of rawness and youthful heat on the palate. Banana and milk chocolate sprinkled with white pepper and freshly grated ginger root. Dry and oaky.
Finish: Relatively short finish. More pepper and more dry oakiness. Vanilla, banana and caramel do make a brief appearance.
Comment: I love the concept, and the composition of this blend is rather unique. The end product does not quite make a memorable experience though.
