Parcel Two makes up 75% of the final composition. It was first filled into ex-American oak before being transferred into casks from the St Julien region of France. It would mature in these exquisite ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques known for their rich aromatic youthfulness, from May 2018 to January 2020. It would be married with Parcel One for the final months of its life.”
This is an online exclusive which you can still buy directly from the distillery at GBP 140.
Nose: Light and fruity - in addition to the smack-in-the-face, earthy, wood smoke. Soft and wine-like acidity. Delicate and well-balanced.
Taste: Full bodied and rich. Creamy vanilla and marshmallow wood smoke. Orchard fruits served on a platter made from toasted oak.
Finish: Long finish. Even more creamy - almost buttery now. Vanilla. Orchard fruits. The smokiness is more meaty now.
Comment: Sweet and frightfully drinkable.
