Noah’s Mill Genuine Bourbon Whiskey, NAS, 57.15 %

Batch 13-71, bottled 2013. Kentucky, distilled at Willett Distillery.

Nose: Cool, relaxed and refined. Mild spiciness, and lots of sweet vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.

Taste: Full bodied and then some. Very peppery and big up front. Toasted oak and spicy fudge.

Finish: Medium long finish. More pepper, more fudge and now also creamy vanilla and almond paste. Some oaky astringency, but pleasantly so.

Comment: Lots of attitude here, and I approve.
