This single pot still whiskey from Midleton distillery has been matured in 1st fill bourbon and virgin American oak. The component whiskies going into this vatting varies in age between 12 and 25 YO.

The Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy goes on sale in Norway tomorrow (May 31) at NOK 2038 (13176001).

Nose: Soft swirls of vanilla, orchard fruits, caramel, and earthy cinnamon.

Taste: Medium to full bodied. First a shock wave of cinnamon, white pepper and ginger. Then the same, magical swirl as I found on the nose.

Finish: Long finish. Continues as it started. Then as it goes in for landing it turns a bit drier and greener.

Comment: Another fantastic Irish whiskey.
