Nose: Deep caramel and toffee. Vanilla and tropical fruits. A typical bourbon-ish style o the nose, I would say. Hints of citrus.

Taste: Medium to thin mouthfeel. I would have loved to see this one bottled at 46 % ABV. Mild toasted oak. Sweet vanilla and again hints of citrus.

Finish: Medium to short finish. Vanilla, cinnamon and toffee. Mildly sour or bitter-ish in character now.

Comment: The nose is fabulous, but on the palate it appears a little “tired” for lack of a better word.
