Here is the 2023 edition of the Longrow 21 YO from Springbank. Matured in a combination of 65% ex-sherry casks and 35% ex-bourbon casks, and peated to 55 ppm.

The Longrow 21 YO (2023) goes on sale in Norway next week at NOK 3414 (17498501).

Nose: Vanilla, toasted oak, medium peat, and layers of wood smoke.

Taste: Medium-bodied, well-rounded, and balanced with a sweet, peaty profile. Notes of dried fruits and fresh orchard fruits combine with caramel and dark chocolate.

Finish: Long, with an increase in smokiness. The chocolate turns darker and drier, adding depth to the finish.

Comment: Evolving layers of sweetness, peat, and rich smoke.
