This is a whisky in the Bodega Series from independent bottler Goldfinch was distilled May 2008. It has received an almost 2 years long finish in a 1st fill ex-Oloroso sherry cask. Limited to 352 bottles.

Nose: Crisp, clean and fruity “sherry nose”. Dried fruits and mild spices. Needs time to open up. Malt and nuts with time.

Taste: Medium to full body. White pepper and floral honey. Ripe, red apples dipped in said honey.

Finish: Medium long finish. Marshmallows and wedges of fresh lime now dipped in the ever present honey. Juicy marzipan and almond milk in the end.

Comment: Rich and welcoming.
