A French single malt whisky produced by Distillerie du Château du Breuil. The Le Breuil Origine Single Malt is produced using 100% Golden Promise barley. It has been matured in a combination of 90% 1st fill ex-bourbon casks and 10% French oak casks. See the official product page for more info.

The first batch released was limited to 8000 bottles, the second batch was 18000 bottles, and they expect to increase the batch size further. Quite ambitious for such a young whisky producer.

Nose: Malty and fruity with notes of peaches and a hint of green grass. Softly herbal, and with time, unsalted peanuts emerge subtly.

Taste: Medium to full-bodied. Creamy, rich, and fruity with an initial touch of white pepper. Vanilla, orchard fruits, and almond milk provide a harmonious sweetness.

Finish: Medium long, delicate, and fruity. Vanilla and strawberries shine through, maintaining a fresh and lively character till the end.

Comment: Balanced and refreshing.
