Nose: Big and meaty, the way I expect Kilchoman to be - and the style they do so very well. Smoked meat, sweet wood smoke, sugary soot, ripe apples, hints of citrus. Toasted oak, green herbs and pepper notes with time.

Taste: Beyond full bodied. Chili explosion! Rich wood smoke. Creamy vanilla. Ripe orchard fruits drenched in simple syrup. Tropical fruits as well as dried apricots and sweet ginger.

Finish: Medium long finish. The spices retreat, giving more room to the sugary sweet fruitiness. Juicy freshness. Hints of smoked meat in the background.

Comment: Big, bold and beautiful.
