Released by independent bottler Meadowside Blending. Distilled February 1997, matured in a single refill sherry butt (cask #18911), and bottled August 2023. Limited to 387 bottles.

Nose: Dusty, oaky, fruity, and refined, inviting a closer inspection. Notes of orange, honey, beeswax, cigar box, and pencil shavings are prominent. Over time, refined earthy cinnamon and a faint hint of floral notes emerge.

Taste: Medium-bodied with delicate notes of creamy vanilla, a sprinkling of spices, juicy orchard fruits, and toasted oak.

Finish: Very long, with caramel notes joining the mix. It becomes more dusty and slightly dry, featuring well-behaved and moderate oakiness. Ends with leather and juicy fruitiness.

Comment: Elegantly complex and inviting.
