This Glenlivet has been matured in 1st fill American white oak casks. This is batch FF0122, bottled January 2022.

Nose: The initial impression on the nose is a blend of malt and fresh oak, setting a sturdy and inviting foundation. This is followed by notes of pepper and creamy vanilla. Then tropical fruits and marshmallows roasting over an open fire.

Taste: The palate is greeted with a very full-bodied experience. A massive wave of tropical fruits, featuring coconut and a variety of melons. This fruitiness is beautifully balanced with the richness of creamy vanilla and the zing of white pepper. The taste then evolves to incorporate ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Finish: The finish is medium to long. I now get additional notes of honey and ginger, along with a subtle hint of resin.
