The Glenfiddich 30 YO is a part of the Time Re:Imagined Series launched by Glenfiddich back in the Autumn of 2022. The series consists of a 30 YO (this one), a 40 YO and a 50 YO. This whisky has been matured in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon casks and Spanish oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks.

You can buy the Glenfiddich 30 YO in Norway now at NOK 12.000 (18760301). A hefty price tag, for sure, but the sales price in Norway is lower than what you will find in the US and the UK.

Nose: Light, fruity, and aromatic with a pleasant dustiness, enhanced by notes of eucalyptus. This is unmistakably "old stuff," showcasing depth and quality. With time, subtle hints of caramel and toasted almonds emerge.

Taste: Medium to light body with a similarly dusty and dryish profile. Floral undertones and fleeting notes of orchard and tropical fruits come through, balanced by hints of oak and nuts in the background.

Finish: Long, lingering finish where the light fruitiness and caramel persist, joined by a soft oakiness and gentle spiciness.

Comment: An elegant, refined experience that captures old-world charm.
