Nose: Dark and mysterious! Deep notes of figs, dates, raisins - you get the gist. The PX influence here heavy and delightful, but perhaps not for the faint of heart. Distillery character on the nose? Not so much. But it is delightful all the same.With time I get sublime and ever changing spice aromas as well.

Taste: Intense and demanding in a very good way. The same dried fruits and deep, PX and honey-like sweetness as I found on the nose, but it is perhaps a little lighter in character here. A bit more playful. Jam filled dark chocolate.

Finish: Long finish. Now also with almond paste, soft oakiness, and mild spices.

Comment: Do you enjoy PX cask matured whiskies? Then this is a must!
