This is a single cask release from independent bottler Duncan Taylor. Distilled June 2012 and bottled October 2022. Matured in an unspecified oak cask. Limited to 260 bottles.

This whisky goes on sale in Norway this coming week at NOK 1380 (15433701).

Nose: Toasted oak, leather, and earthy cinnamon at first. Almost smoky in style. Then more and more tropical fruits. Also a green touch.

Taste: Medium to full body. Dirty sugar cubes, then a more spicy wave. Chili, dark chocolate and again tropical fruits.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Sweet - maybe too sweet as I detect notes of artificial sweetener.

Comment: A bit odd, but fair.
