Nose: Very distinct PX sherry notes, bordering on a sherry bomb. A symphony of dark, dried fruits—raisins and dates dominate initially. Over time, the fruitiness evolves, revealing new nuances. Butterscotch and decadent fudge emerge towards the end.

Taste: Full-bodied, dryish, and fruity, with a darker tone. Dark, dried fruits lead the charge, with heavy sweetness from raisins, dates, and figs. Mellow spiciness follows, featuring cinnamon and nutmeg.

Finish: Medium to long, with raisins firmly taking control, and the other dried fruits bowing in awe. Deep sugary notes linger as the curtains close.

Comment: A stormy Christmas Eve in a glass.

Score 88/100
