The Arran 18 YO is still matured 100 % in ex-Oloroso casks. I have previously reviewed the 2019 release of the Arran 18 YO (see review).

The Arran 20 YO (2020) goes on sale in Norway on May 31 at NOK 1200 (13177201).

Nose: Dry sherry notes. Raisins and dates. Ripe apples. Worn and well oiled leather. Hints of incense.

Taste: Medium to full body. Dry-ish in style on the palate as well. Sherry notes mixed with white pepper, dried apricots and soft leather.

Finish: Long finish. Even drier now. Lovely balance between the mild spices and the dried fruits. Not all that sweet really, though hints of chocolate.

Comment: A lovely, fruity dram!
