Today I present to you yet another Japanese whisky that is not fully Japanese. It is impossible to say just how Japanese it is, as that information is not available. It is composed of whisky produced in Japan and in other countries. All they say is that it is made from four selected grain and single malt whiskies and matured in ex-bourbon casks. The producer is Sasanokawa Shuzo.

Nose: Vanilla, caramel and bits of oak soaked in brackish water. A bit strange at first. Sweeter and more fruity with time; mild citrus and tropical fruits.

Taste: Thin, bordering on skinny, body. Watery in character really. Caramel, fudge, vanilla ice cream. Vegetal notes. Minerals and a metallic touch, reminding me of Tobermory.

Finish: Short and sweet finish. 'nuff said.

Comment: Funnily easy drinking. Hmm
