I reviewed the Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey back in 2013 as well. Back then I had bought a 50 ml miniature bottle, and I scored it 84/100 (see review in Norwegian).
Starting Friday March 6 you can buy the Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in Norway at NOK 496 (11562501). It is also available in Sweden at SEK 419 (584901), and in the UK at around GBP 29.
Nose: Vanilla, honey dew melon, corn sweetness, honey, toasted oak and caramel. Nutty with hints of cinnamon.
Taste: Full bodied. Vanilla ice cream with strawberries and runny caramel sauce. Fizzy ginger, cinnamon, and toast.
Finish: Medium long finish. Soft pepper notes. Ginger and milk chocolate.
Comment: I like this bird.
