New whisky releases Norway – July 2017

On Friday July 7 we get a new batch of whiskies in the Norwegian monopoly stores, and there is plenty to look forward to this time. Do not expect a lazy and boring summer release. This will be good! I am particularly looking forward to the 25 year old Caol Ila Dun Bheagan, and the Highland Park 21 YO and Invergordon 30 YO from Cooper's Choice. All these three are 'reasonably' prices as well.

Also look out for three cask strength GlenDronach releases. They are a bit pricey, but expect great things. I am also looking forward to the blended malt from Japanese distillery Mars. This particular release is a blend of Mars' own Japanese single malt, and a Scotch single malt. As such it is similar to the Glover 18 YO also for sale starting July 7.

And look at all the glorious releases from Nikka! Finally we have more or less the full Nikka core range available to buy here. These are mainly NAS whiskies, but the overall quality is very good.
