Old Scotland

Old Scotland, NAS, 40 %

Another cheap blended Scotch whisky. This product is mainly available in Poland, as far as I can tell. Nothing is published online. I wonder if that is a good sign or not..

Old Scotland is such a generic and nondescript name that I have no words. Let’s move on to the actual liquid.

Nose: Hmm..not half bad. Honey, caramel and vanilla. Some maltiness in the back. Mildly fruity. It is impossible to go into more specifics as the aromas are not all that distinct. This is young stuff.

Taste: Skinny but has eaten within the last few days. Pepper, ginger and chewing gum.

Finish: Just barely. Watery, with herbal chewing gum.

Comment: Highly forgettable.
