This is a distillery exclusive whisky, hand bottled at the distillery. It was distilled 2007-11-22, and bottled sometime in 2019. The Old Pulteney 2007 11 YO cask #1470 was matured in a sherry butt.

Nose: Deep sherry notes from the start here. Dried fruits - juicy dates, figs and raisins. Rich caramel and honey. Earthy vanilla and cinnamon. Warm oaky notes mixed with succulent PX sherry. With time also nuts, honey glazed apples as well as a pinch of salt and pepper.

Taste: Full bodied, sweet and spicy. Rich and deep sweetness of apples, honey, cotton candy and PX sherry. Black pepper and mild chili. A bit dry in style.

Finish: Medium to long finish. No longer dry. Sugary sweet and fruity now. Cinnamon, pepper and a hint of salt.
