Nose: Soft and delicate nose. Finely tuned to the most minute detail. Caramel, dried fruits, grape juice, and vanilla at first, then with time it really opens up. I get darker, deeper and warmer notes by the minute. Nuts, dusty attics, honey, honey cake, fudge, and a mild but ancient PX sherry.
Taste: Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel. So delicate and balanced. Deeply sweet with caramel, vanilla, assorted fruits. It has a Autumnal feel about it. Softly astringent.
Finish: Very long finish. Perhaps a little drier towards the end. White pepper, and mild oakiness.
Comment: Wow! Mind blown. When I have a cognac like this in my glass I find that I can do without whisky on rare occasions.
