New whisky releases Norway - January 2016

Here is the first list of releases for 2016. These 23 whiskies are released at the government owned Vinmonopolet stores on Friday January 8 at 8 am. The only new regular inclusion in the base selection (basis) is the Talisker Skye, the rest of these are on special order (bestillingsutvalg). A few of these are also re-releases or simply new bottle sizes. I am very curious about the new Cask by Cask release, this time a Laphroaig. I also like the fact that we see more small bottles (20 cl) and miniatures. This way more people can try out new whiskies before committing to a full size bottle.
