Both the Mars distilleries; Komagatake and Tsunuki, were built based on original notes by Masataka Taketsuru. Masataka is of course best known as the guy behind Yamazaki Distillery for Suntory, and later for starting his own Yoichi Distillery on Hokkaido.
This whisky has been matured in ex-bourbon casks. Limited to 35800 bottles.

Nose: Opens with a profound richness and complexity, featuring a blend of fruity notes and some darker, more mysterious edges.
Taste: Full-bodied and brimming with richness, characterized by sweet, succulent fruitiness that layers into even deeper richness.
Finish: Medium in duration, showcasing a rich and medium-dark fruitiness, akin to jam, and finishing with notes of chocolate.
Comment: Deeply indulgent.
