39.5 % unpeated whisky matured in ex-Oloroso sherry hogsheads (250 litre)
29.5 % unpeated whisky matured in ex-bourbon barrels (200 litre)
25.3 % peated whisky matured in ex-bourbon barrels (200 litre)
5.7 % peated whisky matured in virgin American oak cask (40 litre)
Peat level over all (average in the malt) is 13.9 ppm.

Nose: Honey cake served with warm caramel sauce. A light dusting of icing sugar and cinnamon. With time green notes of cut grass. Dry wood smoke in the background.
Taste: Medium body. A laid back and sweet affair. Honey and caramel that matches the nose. Orchard fruits. The green notes of cut grass are more prominent, joined by fresh herbs.
Finish: Medium long finish. Continues as it started, but there are a few extra elements gradually making an appearance - in particular hay and wet leaves. Dark chocolate, citrus and a hint of soot.
Comment: A balanced and refined affair. It does remind me a little of Autumn, so well done on that account as well!
