Nose: Fruity and medium sweet on the nose. Waxy notes that has a tint of petroleum to it. Wet planks and softly sour notes. With time more wine notes in the mix, as well as vanilla, orchard fruits and red berries. Coconut, ripe banana and oak. The sourness does dissipate with more time on the clock, and it finds a more pleasant equilibrium.
Taste: Full bodied and sweet all around. The sweetness is balanced by rather dry and passive-aggressive oakiness. Honey and orchard fruits.
Finish: Medium long finish. Oaky spiciness is attempting a coup, pushing all else aside. Sweet orchard fruits and toasted marshmallows do manage to break through towards the end.
Comment: With time the nose is rather charming, the palate is a little rough on the edges.
