This concludes my review of the three Travel Retail products in the Glenmorangie Legends series. The series consists of The Tarlogan, The Tayne and The Duthac.

The Glenmorangie The Tayne is named after a 16th century Spanish galleon shipwrecked just offshore from the distillery. It has been matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Amontillado sherry casks.

You can pick up a 1 litre bottle of the Glenmorangie The Tayne at around GBP 85.

Nose: Chocolate and coffee beans. Vanilla, raisins, figs and prunes. Honey cake with time.

Taste: Full-bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Pepper and hints of chili upfront. Ginger and honey.

Finish: Medium long. A bit darker now. Rich and creamy caramel sauce with a sprinkling of dried fruits. remains very creamy throughout. Pepper, dark chocolate, nougat and almond paste.

Comments: My clear favourite in the Glenmorangie Legends series.
