Distilled 2012, matured in a single unspecified cask (cask #665), and then bottled 2023. Limited to 235 bottles. This is a peated Glenglassaugh (Torfa).

Will be available in Norway starting September 14 at NOK 1594 (15931001).

Nose: The dampness of wet leaves and sawdust greets you first, with a backbone of peat and toasted oak. Notes of pepper and orchard fruits add depth.

Taste: A robust full-bodied profile, heavily leaning on the peaty side. Evokes the essence of soot and hot embers, with a dry, almost biting bitterness.

Finish: Stretches to a medium length, taking a peculiar turn towards the bitter and unusual. The remnants of soot mingle with a watery note, with a noticeable absence of fruitiness.

Comment: Not for the faint-hearted.
