Nose: Very similar to the regular Glenfarclas 15 YO at first, only with the volume turned up. Warm and welcoming. Fresh apples and pears, mixed with assorted dried fruits. Juicy and appealing. Almond paste and creamy vanilla.

Taste: Very rich and more than full bodied. Very fruity - still both of the fresh and dried persuasion. Mildly spicy - with white pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. A bit dry in character.

Finish: Medium to long finish. More dry now. Still a little spicy, but less fruity. More oakiness and I find it somewhat astringent.

Comment: Distinguished and appears older than it is.
