This is a single cask release from Batch 11. It was distilled 1990-05-30, and bottled 2014-11. Matured in a single ex-PX sherry puncheon (cask #1020), and limited to 606 bottles.

Nose: Cigar box filled with raisins. Wooden crates filled with sherry and bits of leather. Hints of furniture polish. With time assorted spices as well as fresh bread crust.

Taste: Full bodied and sublime! This is near perfection. The sherry notes are playful - light yet distinctive. Cold-brewed coffee, dark chocolate, dates and plum marmalade.

Finish: Long finish. More plum marmalade. A pinch of green herbs. Dried fruits and leather. Dusty oakiness at the very end.

Comment: This is ‘plum’ gorgeous!
