Nose: Malty and fruity, with an edge of exotic spices and oakiness. Floral honey, vanilla and the barest hint of aniseed and eucalyptus.

Taste: Full bodied and rather spicy. It is actually borderline feisty. White pepper, assorted chilis and spicy ginger. Somewhat dry. Summer fruits and menthol in the background.

Finish: Long finish. Drier still now. The fruits are now dried as well - and darker. Some oaky astringency, but on a “oaky spice” level rather than overpowering. Hint of mint in the end.

Comment: Not as sweet as the name would suggest, but a darn fine creation.
