Nose: More earthy notes and more cinnamon than the Giboin XO Royal. The oakiness is barely noticeable. Hints of pepper and salt in the background.

Taste: Medium to light body. Slightly perfumed in character. Caramel, dried fruits and flowers. Mild oakiness.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Again the salt and pepper. Leather, caramel and vanilla. A green finish and somewhat astringent finish.

Comment: Feels a bit younger than it apparently is. But it is a fine dram.
