The Ardmore 2008 13 YO Paloma Series goes on sale in Norway this week at NOK 1768 (15443301).

Nose: A captivating fusion of chocolate-infused wood smoke and delicate hints of orchard fruits greets the senses. With time, gentle wafts of vanilla and fudge emerge to further enchant.

Taste: Surprisingly peat-forward, this full-bodied dram reveals freshly crushed black peppercorns that intermingle with the essence of well-worn leather and a cigar box's mystique.

Finish: A medium to lengthy finale unveils notes of red berries and red wine, playfully peeking out from behind the veil of peaty and spicy nuances. The enduring presence of sublime chocolate smoke leaves a lasting impression.
