This is an exciting new product, a combination of Agitators American style rye Blind Seal and and their The Swedish Blend. It has been matured in virgin American oak (the Blind Seal component), and a mix of ex-bourbon, virgin oak, ex-sherry and chestnut casks for the blended Swedish whisky component. Nose: Rich notes of butterscotch, caramel, and marshmallows dominate initially. Over tmae, hints of unsalted peanuts and cold brewed coffee add depth and complexity.
Taste: Medium-bodied, balanced, and well-rounded. Fruity with a tempered spicy backbone, offering sweetness without being overly so. The flavor of cold brewed sweet coffee complements the profile.
Finish: Medium to short, echoing the main flavors. Gradually transitions into Willy Wonka territory with fun notes of caramel swirls and milk chocolate.
Comment: Enjoyable.
