This independent bottling from Douglas Laing was distilled in December 2008, and bottled in April 2019. It was matured in a refill hogshead (cask# DL13174), and the total outturn was 476 bottles (50 cl).

Nose: A bit closed and shy at first. When it opens up I find tomato plant, vanilla and a mild fruitiness.
Taste: Medium body and sweetness. Apples and mixed green notes. White pepper and vanilla.
Finish: Medium to long finish. Quite spicy now. Warm. The tomato plant again.
Comment: A nice, if a bit different, Aberlour.
